This year is a special year for the Leeds founded and internationally renowned label, 2020 Vision. 2014 marks their 20th year in existence, and to celebrate this they’re embarking on a special worldwide ‘2020 Vision Content Tour’.
After their first event of the tour at Fabric, they’re rightly returning to their birthplace and hometown of Leeds to deliver us a unique night full of audio and visual spectacles.
Headlining the evening with his Reels of Steel A/V show is Greg Wilson. He’ll be manning his tape reel-to-reels to provide a set unlike what most have heard or seen for a long time. He’ll be joined by other great acts such as the founder of 2020 Vision, Ralph Lawson, and 2020 regulars, Crazy P. In addition, gracing the decks will be Tristan Da Cunha, one half of the newly founded Dungeon Meat Imprint and, lastly, 2020 Vision’s newest addition, Kag Katumba.
On the visual side of things, 2020 have teamed up with Loco, a Leeds based visual collective who will provide an immersive experience and journey through sculpture, lighting and 3D Projection. For the Content tour they’ve specially built a structure out of cubes onto which to projection map.
Catch them all down at Canal Mills on the 29th March
