Mister Saturday at St John at Hackney

Returning to its, somewhat, spiritual home is Mister Saturday Night– aka Justin Carter & Eamon Harkin. Famous for their Mister Sunday day parties around the world the duo have decided to recreate the success of March’s event with another Day & Evening party at St John at Hackney Church.

Organised and DJed by the duo, Mister Saturday Night has it’s roots in Brooklyn, NY starting off in Santos Party House in 2009. From it’s conception the event has gone from strength to strength and is now heralded around the world as one of the best. Famous for attracting a fun-loving crowd of all ages-and some interesting dance moves (see video below) – it is a perfect way to begin your evening.

Playing host is the remarkable St John at Hackney Church. As music venues go this has to one of the coolest in London. The church itself has existed at the heart of Hackney for over 200 years. The Grade II listed building has recently found dual purpose as a working church and an event space for music acts. The church’s gothic architecture, with high ceilings and stained glass windows, provides the audience with a truly unique experience.

The American-based double act mainly spin all things disco and tribal house whilst adding soulful vocals and samples into their mixes. Set up with a Funktion-One system, an altar and a big mirror ball- proceedings could get biblical if this Boiler Room set is anything to go by.

With tickets on final release be quick to get the last few.

God bless!
